At ReadOrSkip, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, custom-made apparel. Since our products are made to order, we have a specific return policy to ensure customer satisfaction while also considering the nature of print-on-demand products. Please read the following return and exchange policy to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Return Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges for defective, misprinted, or damaged products, and for products lost in transit, as long as the claim is made within 30 days of receiving the product or the estimated delivery date.
Eligible Return Conditions:
- Damaged or Defective Products: If your product arrives with a defect, incorrect printing, or damage.
- Misprinted Products: If there are errors in the design or printing process.
- Wrong Product Received: If the wrong product was shipped.
- Lost Packages: If your package is lost in transit, claims must be filed within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
Please Note: We do not accept returns for items due to buyer’s remorse or if the product does not meet expectations regarding fit or design, unless the product is defective.
2. How to Request a Return or Exchange
If you have received a defective or incorrect product, or if your product was lost in transit, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Follow these steps to initiate a claim:
- Submit a Claim: Email us at [support@readorskip.com] with your order number, photos of the defective item (if applicable), and a description of the issue.
- We will review your claim and determine if it meets the return or exchange criteria. If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product or send you a replacement.
- If you have received the wrong item, we will ensure you get the correct product sent at no additional cost to you.
3. Refunds and Replacements
Once we have received your returned item (if applicable) and assessed the issue, we will:
- Provide a replacement for defective, damaged, or incorrect items at no additional cost.
- Issue a refund for defective, damaged, or incorrect products. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable. If a replacement is requested, we will cover the shipping cost for the new item to be sent to you.
4. Wrong Address or Unclaimed Shipments
If you or your customer provides an insufficient or incorrect address, the package will be returned to us. In this case, you will be responsible for any reshipping costs after we confirm the correct address.
- Unclaimed Shipments: If a package goes unclaimed and is returned to us, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the product to you or your customer.
- Failure to Claim: If a package is not claimed and is returned to us, it may be donated to charity after 30 days if you do not request reshipment. Shipping costs for unclaimed packages are at your expense.
5. Custom & Personalized Items
Because most of our products are custom-made, we do not accept returns on personalized or custom items unless the item is defective or misprinted. Custom products include, but are not limited to, items with personal text, logos, or unique designs.
6. Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned due to health or hygiene reasons:
- Face Masks: We cannot accept returns on face masks due to health and hygiene regulations.
- Sealed Goods: We do not accept returns for any sealed goods that have been opened.
7. Returns by Customers
If your customer wishes to return a product, it is best that they contact you first before returning any items. Unless the product is defective, returns for buyer’s remorse or exchanges for size are handled at your discretion and expense.
If you choose to accept returns or offer exchanges, you will be responsible for the cost of a new order (if applicable). We recommend providing customers with a size guide to prevent sizing issues.
8. International Returns & Shipping
For international orders, customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and the cost of reshipping the product will also be borne by you or your customer, depending on the situation.
If a return or exchange is requested outside of the 30-day window, we may not be able to accommodate the return or exchange.
9. Special Note for EU Consumers
According to EU consumer rights regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
- Sealed goods which have been opened after delivery and are no longer suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
As such, ReadOrSkip reserves the right to refuse returns at its discretion in these cases.
